For marketers and creators
Break down any viral video or competitor ad in Claude.
Paste a YouTube link, Shorts included. Watch Any Video watches it and gives Claude the hook, every beat, what is said and shown, and the call to action, each with a timestamp. Then ask Claude to turn that structure into a brief or a script for your own product.
60 free minutes of video a month. A 30-second ad uses half a minute.
Break this ad down for me: the hook, the beats with timestamps, and the call to action.
Used Watch Any Video: Watch a video (5 s)

What you get from every video
Watch Any Video reports what is in the video. Claude does the rest: comparing ads, spotting the pattern, and writing your version.
- The hook
- What happens in the first seconds, on screen and in the audio.
- Every beat
- The structure of the video, scene by scene, each with a timestamp.
- What is said
- The voiceover and dialogue, with key lines quoted.
- What is shown
- On-screen text, captions, product shots and the end card.
- The call to action
- The offer, the date, the link or the line the video ends on.
- Moments worth clipping
- Ask for the strongest 15 or 30 seconds and get the start and end times.
Prompts to try
Paste a YouTube link after any of these.
- “What happens in the first three seconds of this Short, and how does it keep people watching?”
- “List every claim and the offer in this ad, with the time each one appears.”
- “Break down these two competitor ads side by side: hook, beats and call to action.”
- “Write a 30-second script for my product that follows this video's structure beat for beat.”
- “Which complaints does this reviewer raise about the product, and where?”
- “Find three 20-second moments in this podcast that would work as clips, and quote them.”
Good to know
- It watches public YouTube videos, including Shorts and past live streams, up to about three hours. TikTok, Instagram and Meta Ad Library links aren't supported yet.
- Follow-up questions about a video you've already watched are free and take a couple of seconds.
- It never identifies people from their faces. It only uses names that are said aloud or shown on screen.
- It describes videos; it doesn't download, copy or edit them.
